ExIm Board of Directors Nominees

Scott Garrett, Donald Trump’s pick to run the Export-Import Bank, was blocked in the Senate Banking Committee on December 19.   The same committee did move ahead with four nominees to fill vacant seats on the ExIm Board of Directors.  They are: Kimberly Reed, Spencer Bachus, Judith Delzoppo Pryor, and Claudia Slacik.   If they are confirmed, the Bank will have a quorum.  This will enable ExIm to move ahead with consideration of requests valued at greater than $10 million per transaction, which is not possible without a quorum of Board members.  There are several billion dollars worth of transactions waiting for consideration in this category.
